What started as a science project has led to saving money on my energy bill each month. I found plans on the internet explaining how to generate electricity at home with a magnet motor and decided we would give it a try. I found several plans online but some of them looked more like your typical science experiment. I simply couldn’t afford to waste money on a lot of materials that wouldn’t work when put together. We finally found a site that had what looked like a plan that could actually work and the supplies weren’t all that expensive either.

You’re probably going to need to do a bit of home work on this as well. Some of it does get rather technical. You will need to understand how magnets work and then be able to align the correctly to produce force to turn the motor and produce energy.

The smaller motors are cheaper and this is a good place to begin. If you start small and work your way up then you will have a better working knowledge of things. This will help when you try a full size motor that will generate enough power to help run your home.
