PEX fittings are used to connect the flexible polyethylene pipes used in PEX water plumbing systems. Flexible PEX tubes are a low cost, problem free alternative to metal or plastic systems. You can avoid the problems of corrosion and scaling when you use a PEX system. Altogether PEX water plumbing systems are a vast improvement over older systems that use copper or rigid plastic pipes.

In cold temperatures PEX tubes retain their flexibility and do not become brittle and break. Unlike metal pipes, PEX tubing will not corrode and will not develop scales. PEX tubing is energy efficient as well because they will not conduct heat.

PEX tubing is stored on spools. Spools weigh less than metal or rigid plastic pipe making them less expensive to ship and easier to store. When used in an installation, PEX tubing can be unrolled directly from the spool and does not require coupling fittings. This saves the time and expense of running pipe. Generate Electricity At Home With A Magnet Motor

What started as a science project has led to saving money on my energy bill each month. I found plans on the internet explaining how to generate electricity at home with a magnet motor and decided we would give it a try. We started small but soon we had a motor large enough to cut our energy bill by a third.

I found several plans online but some of them looked more like your typical science experiment. I simply couldn’t afford to waste money on a lot of materials that wouldn’t work when put together. We finally found a site that had what looked like a plan that could actually work and the supplies weren’t all that expensive either.

You’re probably going to need to do a bit of home work on this as well. Some of it does get rather technical. You will need to understand how magnets work and then be able to align the correctly to produce force to turn the motor and produce energy.

With most construction services, you can typically do renovations by using your head, figuring it out, and doing it yourself. However, one of the most difficult trades to really do well without a great deal of training is Drywall/Gypsum. Gypsum boarding and taping is one the most hated of all the work in a do it yourself project because it can really make or break the project aesthetically. It is similar how car enthusiasts will often do most of the work themselves when fixing it up, and then have it professionally painted in the end.

There are many corners that DIYers often cut which really cost the quality of the job in the end. The first big one is not having the proper tools. Some of the joints, particularly the butt-joints, require a wide trowel and a solid feathering technique to really hide them. As a do it yourselfer, there is the added problem of gypsum boarding that could really could have been cut/aligned better.
